QuickBooks Field Service Management is a scheduling, dispatching and work-order app that its own site calls "Intuit Field Service Management for QuickBooks," made by Corrigo and synced to QuickBooks. That site lists $35 per user a month, billed by Intuit, on a pricing page dated 2015, so treat the figure as a starting point to confirm, not a quote.
Quick answer
Three routes exist. The first is that Corrigo-made app, listed at $35 per user a month plus optional modules. The second is QuickBooks Online plus QuickBooks Time, which is publicly priced but built for time and money, not for work orders. The third is a field service app that pushes invoices into QuickBooks. Whichever you pick, decide now where the source of each customer, such as Google, a yard sign or a neighbor, will live inside QuickBooks, because the invoice alone will not tell you.
What is QuickBooks Field Service Management today?
I read the product's pages on quickbooks.corrigo.com. They describe cloud-based work order scheduling, dispatching and invoicing and a mobile app for Apple and Android devices (Corrigo, checked 2026-10-14), with card payments taken in the app through QuickBooks Payments (Corrigo, checked 2026-10-14). Two optional modules are named, Preventive Maintenance and Service Agreements, and Time Card, and parts used in the field sync with the Advanced Inventory module of QuickBooks Enterprise (Corrigo, checked 2026-10-14). The scheduling page says it is "optimized for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and repair."
Who makes and who sells it sits on different pages. The upgrades page calls Corrigo "the maker of Intuit Field Service Management" (Corrigo, checked 2026-10-14), new subscriptions go through an Intuit Sales phone line, and the footer names JLL as copyright holder. Ask the seller whose name will be on your contract.
The pricing page lists $35 per user a month for 1 to 10 users, $31 for 11 to 40 and $28 for 41 to 101, billed by Intuit; each optional module costs $15 per user a month for 1 to 10 users, billed by Corrigo (Corrigo, checked 2026-10-14). That page is dated July 9, 2015, so confirm the price before you budget. The free 7-day test drive runs on sample data and cannot be connected to your QuickBooks file (Corrigo, checked 2026-10-14). Nothing I read says the product is discontinued.
The About page limits the sync to U.S. versions of QuickBooks Online and of QuickBooks Desktop Pro, Premier and Enterprise (Corrigo, checked 2026-10-14), so a Canadian company file is a question for sales. The Time Card module works with Desktop only, not with QuickBooks Online (Corrigo, checked 2026-10-14).
How do the three routes compare?
Prices are from the vendors' US pages as published on the date shown. "Quote only" means the vendor's page shows no figure.
| Route | Who sells it | What reaches QuickBooks, as documented | Price as published |
|---|---|---|---|
| Intuit Field Service Management for QuickBooks | Made by Corrigo; subscriptions through Intuit Sales | Invoices and field payments; time cards on Desktop only; US QuickBooks Online and Desktop Pro, Premier, Enterprise | $35 per user a month for 1 to 10 users; modules $15 per user each; page dated 2015 |
| QuickBooks Online plus QuickBooks Time | Intuit | Time data syncs to accounting and payroll; Time requires a QuickBooks Online account | Online Plus $140 a month, Time Elite $40 a month plus $12 per user, before promotions |
| Jobber | Jobber | Online only, one way from Jobber: clients, products and services, timesheets, invoices, payments, refunds, tips, payouts | Not on this page; see the Jobber price breakdown |
| Housecall Pro | Housecall Pro | Online and Desktop: invoices, customers, line items, payments | QuickBooks not included in the subscription |
| ServiceTitan | ServiceTitan | Page does not say Online or Desktop; field purchases, invoices, purchase orders | Quote only; see ServiceTitan pricing |
| Workiz | Workiz | Online and Desktop: invoices, Workiz Pay payments, taxes, customer information; one way into QuickBooks | Page names no plan |
| Service Fusion | Service Fusion | Online: invoices, payments, customer data; Desktop through a Windows plugin | Page names no plan |
Sources, all checked 2026-10-14: Intuit QuickBooks Online pricing, QuickBooks Time pricing, Jobber QuickBooks sync, Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, Workiz, Service Fusion. Service Fusion's Desktop line comes from its help center, which says Desktop needs a small program installed on a Windows computer while Online connects directly (Service Fusion, checked 2026-10-14).
Jobber's page ties the sync to its Connect plan and higher. Intuit's pricing page shows Plus at $140 a month and a half-price offer for the first 3 months; Time Elite's base fee has the same offer on a $40 list price.
Can QuickBooks plus QuickBooks Time run my crews?
For hours and money, yes. QuickBooks Time covers time tracking and scheduling, and its Elite tier adds mileage, project tracking, estimates against actuals and timesheet signatures; the base fee includes one admin and each extra user is charged on top (Intuit, checked 2026-10-14). A footnote on the same page says time tracking is "Available in QuickBooks Workforce Premium and Elite only," which does not match the Time plan cards, so confirm which tier has the feature you need before paying.
What the page does not describe is a work-order board: a customer's job history by address, equipment on site, a dispatcher dragging an emergency onto a truck, a photo and a signature closing a job. Run those exact tasks in the free trial, which the page says needs no credit card, before deciding your office can live without them.
Which QuickBooks plan can hold a source label?
Two QuickBooks features can carry a source. A customer type is a category you attach to a customer, and Intuit's help page puts it on Plus and Advanced only; the report "Sales by Customer Type Detail" then totals sales by it (Intuit, checked 2026-10-14). A class is a tag that sorts transactions into segments, also Plus and Advanced only (Intuit, checked 2026-10-14). Intuit's pricing page confirms Plus tracks classes and locations.
A customer type describes the person, so it fits "where did this customer first come from." A class describes the transaction, so it fits "which channel earned this repair." I would use the customer type for first source and keep classes for the work you do, such as install and repair, so one list does not carry two jobs.
How does the source get from the ad to the QuickBooks report?
You learn where a customer came from at the booking, in the field app or on your website, never at the invoice. The path has three links.
- The booking captures a source. A tracking phone number per channel or a tag on your web link fills it in, and a required field in the app keeps the person answering the phone from skipping it.
- The app syncs the customer to QuickBooks. Every vendor page I read lists invoices as what moves, and four of the five add customers. None says that a lead source becomes a customer type or class.
- The category exists in QuickBooks. Create customer types named like your sources, and batch-assign them to existing customers from the Customers list.
Link 2 is the unknown. Where a field cannot map across, an office person sets the customer type on each new customer once a week, or a short script assigns it from an export. Check a single test customer from booking through to the QuickBooks report before you rely on any of it.
What would a 6-technician plumbing shop pay in year one?
Illustrative: every number below is made up for an imaginary plumbing shop with six technicians and two people in the office, and none comes from a client. I invented all prices so the structure is clear; the published prices are in the table above.
Year one cost = (software per month + QuickBooks plan per month) × 12 + one-time fees + office time the software does not save.
| Line | Route 1: Corrigo-powered app | Route 2: QuickBooks plus Time | Route 3: field app that syncs |
|---|---|---|---|
| Field software per month (made up) | $450 | $110 | $420 |
| QuickBooks Plus per month (made up) | $150 | $150 | $150 |
| Twelve months of both | $7,200 | $3,120 | $6,840 |
| Setup and training, once | $500 | $0 | $800 |
| Extra dispatch work: 4 hours a week × $28 × 52 | $0 | $5,824 | $0 |
| Year one | $7,700 | $8,944 | $7,640 |
With 2,000 jobs expected, that is $3.85, $4.47 and $3.82 a job. Route 2 looks cheapest on the monthly bill and loses once the dispatcher's hours count. Your own number is the weekly time your office spends on tasks the software would remove. You can count it in one real week.
What to ask the vendor
- Who is my contract with, who supports the app, and what happens to my data if the product is retired?
- Which QuickBooks editions and years work with my company file, and is the published per-user price still current for six technicians and two office users?
- Does a lead source, a campaign or a tracking number travel into QuickBooks, and as a customer type, a class or neither?
- Is the QuickBooks sync one way or two ways, and which plan includes it?
- What do I get if I export every job, with its source and invoice, when I leave?
For a wider comparison of the apps, see field service software that keeps the ad next to the job. The step that sends finished jobs back to Google Ads is in offline conversion tracking from a CRM.
I come to this from the ad side. I bought Google Ads and Meta Ads from October 2023 to September 2025, nearly $700K in spend, and an ad account can only steer toward results someone reports back to it. In QuickBooks, that report starts with a customer type someone filled in.

Frequently asked questions
Is QuickBooks Field Service Management made by Intuit?
Its own site calls Corrigo the maker of Intuit Field Service Management for QuickBooks, sends new subscribers to an Intuit Sales line, and says Intuit bills the main subscription while Corrigo bills the add-on modules. The footer names JLL as copyright holder. Ask the sales line, in writing, which company holds your contract and who supports the app.
Does QuickBooks Field Service Management work with QuickBooks Desktop?
Its site says it works with U.S. versions of QuickBooks Online and of QuickBooks Desktop Pro, Premier and Enterprise. Its optional Time Card module works with Desktop only, not with QuickBooks Online. Confirm your exact edition and year before you subscribe.
Does QuickBooks Time schedule and dispatch jobs?
Intuit's QuickBooks Time pricing page says scheduling is included in all its plans. Time tracking, scheduling, mileage and project tracking are what that page lists. It does not describe customer work orders, a technician job history or field invoicing, so test those against your own jobs.
Which QuickBooks Online plan do I need to report revenue by source?
Intuit's help pages put customer types and classes on Plus and Advanced only. Simple Start and Essentials have neither. A report that totals sales by customer type, or by class, needs one of those two plans.
Can a field service app send the lead source to QuickBooks?
The QuickBooks pages I read for Jobber, Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, Workiz and Service Fusion all list invoices as what moves, four of them add customers and payments, and none says a lead source becomes a customer type or class. That does not prove it cannot be done, so ask each vendor and test with one job before you rely on it.
