Trainerize's own pricing page lists a free plan for one client, $10 a month for two, $25 to $250 a month for 5 to 200 clients on Pro, and $275 a month per location on Studio Plus, all billed monthly in US dollars. Paying for a year up front lowers each rate, and add-ons for nutrition, video, branding and payments sit on top of whichever base plan you pick.
Quick answer
Pull up trainerize.com/pricing before any sales call and note three things: which seat stop your current client count falls into, which add-ons (nutrition, video, branding, Stripe payments) you will actually turn on, and whether the price on screen is the monthly or the annual rate, since the page opens on Annual. The 30-day trial needs no card and allows unlimited clients, so run it with your own program content before paying for anything.
What does Trainerize charge at each client count?
Trainerize's pricing page sets each plan by client seats, with a Monthly and an Annual toggle; it states that all prices are in USD and that annual plans are billed once per year (Trainerize pricing, checked 2026-10-07):
| Plan and client seats | Billed monthly | Annual plan, shown per month |
|---|---|---|
| Basic, 1 client | Free | Free |
| Grow, 2 clients | $10 | $9 |
| Pro 5 | $25 | $23 |
| Pro 15 | $50 | $45 |
| Pro 30 | $79 | $71 |
| Pro 50 | $135 | $122 |
| Pro 75 | $180 | $162 |
| Pro 100 | $225 | $203 |
| Pro 200 | $250 | $225 |
| Studio Plus 500, per location | $275 | $248 |
| Studio Plus 1,000, per location | $380 | $342 |
| More than 1,000 clients or 5+ locations | Custom | Custom |
The page shows no seat stop between Pro 200 and Studio Plus 500, so a roster that outgrows 200 coaching clients moves to the per-location Studio price. Its FAQ adds that Basic clients, who can book and buy but get no programs, tracking or messaging, do not count against a paid plan's client limit. Trainerize's Pricing Updates 2026 FAQ says that starting March 16, 2026, the new prices reach each invoice on that account's renewal date (its example: a subscription renewing April 1, 2026 is billed at the new rate that day), and it sends you to the same pricing page for the current numbers rather than listing them (Trainerize help center, checked 2026-10-07).
What do the add-ons cost on top of a plan?
Four add-ons are sold separately on Grow and Pro, plus a one-time branded-app fee on Pro, and Studio Plus includes all of them at no extra charge:
| Add-on | Price on Grow or Pro | On Studio Plus |
|---|---|---|
| Advanced Nutrition Coaching | $20 a month (Grow, Pro 5, Pro 15) or $45 a month (Pro 30 to Pro 200) | Included |
| Business (bundles Stripe payments and video coaching with prospect booking links and client referrals) | $25 a month | Included |
| Video Coaching | $10 a month; 50 hours of calls and 100 hours of streaming a month | Included; 500 call hours and 5,000 streaming hours a month |
| Stripe Integrated Payments | $10 a month | Included |
| Custom Branded App | $169 one-time setup fee (Pro only) | Included |
The prices are from the same pricing page (Trainerize pricing, checked 2026-10-07). The help center adds that add-ons bill on a monthly cycle only, even on an annual plan, except the one-time Pro branded-app fee (Trainerize help center, checked 2026-10-07), and that buying the Business add-on cancels separate Video Coaching and Stripe subscriptions, since it already contains both (Trainerize help center, checked 2026-10-07). On top of the add-on fee, a sale that runs through Stripe Integrated Payments also pays a transaction fee; Trainerize's own help center gives a sample rate of 3.15% plus 30 cents on a $100 charge and says the real rate depends on your country (Trainerize help center, checked 2026-10-07).
What's in the 30-day free trial, and what gets left out?
Signing up starts a 30-day trial with no credit card, and the trial allows unlimited active clients, workout programs and tracking, basic nutrition tracking with PDF meal plans, messaging and groups, and the mobile apps. Four things stay locked: the paid add-ons (Advanced Nutrition Coaching, Stripe Integrated Payments, Video Coaching, Custom Branded App), unlimited custom exercise video uploads (one is allowed during the trial), editing the welcome email and consultation form, and renaming your business (Trainerize help center, checked 2026-10-07). The same page states plainly: "All prices are in U.S. Dollars (USD)." When the trial ends without an upgrade, the account drops to the one-client Basic plan and every other client is downgraded or deactivated.
Before you upgrade, check two things: your renewal date under Settings > Billing, since that is when a price change reaches your invoice, and how many of your clients only book and pay, since those can sit as Basic clients outside the seat count.
Which plan fits a solo trainer, a studio, or a gym?
| Business | Coaching clients | Published plan | Billed monthly |
|---|---|---|---|
| Trainer with one or two early clients | 1 to 2 | Basic or Grow | Free or $10 |
| Online coach or independent trainer building a roster | 5 to 200 | Pro | $25 to $250, by seat stop |
| Studio or coaching business past 200 clients | Up to 500 or 1,000 | Studio Plus | $275 or $380 per location |
| Gym with more than 1,000 clients or 5+ locations | 1,000+ | Custom quote | Quoted |
Each row names the tier Trainerize's own page assigns to that seat range; it says nothing about which tier suits your workflow, only which one your headcount qualifies for.
Is ABC Trainerize still the same software?
Yes, under its parent's name. Trainerize's own blog says ABC Fitness acquired the company in a deal "made official in September 2020," and that ABC also includes the ABC Glofox, ABC Ignite, ABC Gymsales and ABC Evo platforms through a series of additional acquisitions (Trainerize, checked 2026-10-07). The pricing page's plan comparison lists MINDBODY and ABC Glofox integrations only in its top column (up to 500 clients, $275 a month) (Trainerize pricing, checked 2026-10-07). The help center says the Glofox integration needs a Trainerize Studio Plus or Max plan and a Glofox Essential, Booster or Elite plan, syncs client data, memberships and 1-on-1 appointments one way from Glofox into Trainerize, and gives Studio customers who connect it 10% off their Trainerize subscription (Trainerize help center, checked 2026-10-07).
How does Trainerize's price compare with other coaching apps?
Each line below comes from that vendor's own pricing page, not a review or a ranking:
| Software | Entry price (as published) | Scales to |
|---|---|---|
| TrueCoach | $26.34 a month, billed annually, for up to 5 clients | Pro plan, up to 50 clients at $136.99 a month, billed annually (TrueCoach, checked 2026-10-07) |
| Everfit | Free for up to 5 clients | Pro plan, $19 a month for 5 clients up to $290 for 300, billed monthly (Everfit, checked 2026-10-07) |
| PT Distinction | $19.90 a month for 3 clients | Master plan, $89.90 a month for 50, plus $1.60 a month for each client past 50 (PT Distinction, checked 2026-10-07) |
| My PT Hub | No USD price could be confirmed at the check (the page showed euros); ask for the USD rate before signing up | Unlimited clients on its Premium and Ultimate tiers (My PT Hub, checked 2026-10-07) |
None of these numbers says which tool is the better fit; that turns on which features (branded apps, nutrition tools, video hours) you actually use at your client count.
Can Trainerize show which ad brought a paying client?
Not from what its own pages document. The pricing page and help center list integrations with fitness apps and wearables (MyFitnessPal, Garmin, Fitbit, Withings), with gym platforms (MINDBODY, ABC Glofox) and with Zapier, but none of the pages checked describe sending a booking, a sign-up or a payment back to Google Ads or GA4 (Google Analytics 4) as a conversion (Trainerize pricing, checked 2026-10-07). Its Zapier connection does offer New Client and New Purchase triggers, so a sale can be passed to another app (Trainerize help center, checked 2026-10-07), but the list does not mention the ad click id (the code Google Ads adds to each ad click) or any other ad source field.
The sale itself runs through links Trainerize hosts: product and checkout links for your website or social posts, which the help center even suggests using in paid ads (Trainerize help center, checked 2026-10-07), and the Business add-on's prospect booking link (Trainerize help center, checked 2026-10-07). That makes your own landing page, where GA4 or the Google tag can run, the place to record which ad sent a visitor before they click through to Trainerize. If prospects phone before they buy, a call tracking number per ad source covers that path, the same mechanic as the CallRail call tracking I have set up for a US medical practice. Gym management software: billing, freezes and source covers the same lead-source gap in full membership platforms, and gym marketing that counts the members who stay covers the channel side of the same question.
What would a growing roster actually cost over a year?
Illustrative: the coach, her monthly client count and her choice of add-ons below are invented for this example; the only real figures in the table are Trainerize's published monthly-billing prices, cited above, and none of it comes from a client.
| Months | Clients | Plan and add-ons | Monthly software cost | Cost per client that month |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 to 2 | 1 | Basic | $0 | $0 |
| 3 to 4 | 2 | Grow | $10 | $5.00 |
| 5 to 8 | 5 | Pro 5, plus Stripe Integrated Payments | $25 + $10 = $35 | $7.00 |
| 9 to 12 | 12 | Pro 15, plus Stripe Integrated Payments | $50 + $10 = $60 | $5.00 |
Her year one software bill: (2 x $0) + (2 x $10) + (4 x $35) + (4 x $60) = $0 + $20 + $140 + $240 = $400, before Stripe's per-sale fees. The formula to rerun with your own numbers: monthly software cost (plan plus whichever add-ons you actually turn on) divided by active clients that month gives cost per client; multiply each month's cost by the months at that count and add them up for the year. Her cost per client rises when she moves to Pro and adds payments at five clients, then falls as the 15-seat stop fills; at 15 clients the same $60 would be $4.00 per client.

Frequently asked questions
Is the Trainerize app free?
Yes, for one client. Trainerize's Basic plan is free and covers one coaching client, and the 30-day trial allows unlimited active clients with no card required. After the trial, an account that is not upgraded drops back to the one-client Basic plan. The pricing page also says clients pay nothing to use the app.
How much does Trainerize cost for a roster of 10 clients?
Ten clients is more than the Pro plan's 5-seat stop, so the next stop up is Pro 15: $50 a month billed monthly, or $45 a month on an annual plan, as published on 2026-10-07. Add-ons such as Stripe Integrated Payments ($10 a month) come on top.
Does Trainerize take a cut of the payments I process through it?
The per-sale fee is Stripe's: Trainerize's help center says Stripe's transaction fees come out of what the client pays before the balance reaches you, and gives a sample rate of 3.15% plus 30 cents on a $100 charge. It also says your country determines the actual fees. That is on top of the plan price and the $10-a-month Stripe Integrated Payments add-on.
Is ABC Trainerize a different company from Trainerize?
No, it is the same product under its parent's name. Trainerize's own blog says ABC Fitness acquired it in a deal made official in September 2020, and its pricing page and help center now use the name ABC Trainerize.
Can Trainerize show which Google ad brought a paying client?
Not on its own, based on what its pricing page and help center document. Trainerize lists integrations with fitness apps, wearables, Zapier and gym platforms like MINDBODY and ABC Glofox, but none of the pages checked describe sending a booking or a payment back to Google Ads or GA4 as a conversion.
